MyJets' Mission

A group of seasoned pilots and international entrepreneurs has founded MyJets Inc. to provide alternative short-range (100 to 500 miles) travel options to executives.  It is based upon a new ownership concept, the “Fractional Seat Ownership”, which is a completely new way of traveling to and from work for all levels of executives.

Commuting to work is becoming more of a hindrance to executive productivity as the freeways become more congested and security concerns make traveling via commercial flights an ever-increasing frustrating and time-consuming experience.

Following the success of fractional aircraft ownership, MyJets Inc. is developing “Fractional Seat Ownership”. In lieu of renting an entire plane at a very high cost, MyJets is offering the frequent-flyer executive who regularly flies the same route from home to work an inexpensive way to benefit from all the advantages of a private jet.  This is an untapped market, estimated at over 30,000 people per week in the LA basin only.

The fractional ownership model for MyJets is unique within the industry and is geared toward the executive with the need to regularly travel from the LA basin to the Bay Area. A Fractional Investment in one Seat on MyJets entitles the executive to one round trip per week; ongoing costs include a monthly fee for management/maintenance and a reasonable per hour rate for trips actually taken.

Our first route, which will transport executives between Camarillo and Palo Alto, two small cities in California 400 miles apart, shows a 70% reduction in total travel time.  A typical six-hour trip now becomes a less than two-hour trip, with the added value of comfort and security, all at 15% of the cost of the smallest charter jet available today.  Additional routes are currently being developed.

In partnership with the NASA and the SATS (Small Aircraft Transportation System) project, MyJets Inc. will develop a network of connections between over 5000 small airports in the U.S. to take advantage of the efficiency and low costs of operation of small planes.  In addition, MyJets Inc. is negotiating partnership agreements with major players in the manufacturing industry of new sophisticated and efficient airplanes in order to secure production and help improve technology by adapting needs to research.

MyJets Inc. is a Delaware corporation, with headquarters in Marina del Rey, California.
